Auditor General to investigate Green's advisors
NZ Politics

One part of the deal Labour did with the Greens post election was to provide them with taxpayer funded advisors, funded from Vote Ministerial Services. This of course was immediately attacked by the opposition as none of the Green MPs are part of the government, so are not accountable to parliament, and so should not be funded from Ministerial Services.

Well, the Auditor-General is to investigate the legality of the situation - we'll see what he says in due course.
