Herald readers' thoughts on zoning
NZ Politics

The NZ Herald has another short article today containing some readers' views on school zoning in response to their editorial yesterday. The first such response comes from one completely impartial Grant Gillon, former MP for the Alliance, and current leader of the Democrats, a fairly left-wing political party in New Zealand.

I wonder if the Herald decided not to indicate this in their article, or probably the more likely answer, they just didn't realise who he was.

Update: I got the details a little wrong here. Grant Gillon is no longer the leader of the Democrats - he resigned from that position when the Democrats left the Progressive Coalition. He is now the President of the Progressive Party.
