Using MailBucket, some RSS feeds, and a lot of hacky PHP, I have managed to get recent posts showing on the main page so we can actually recent updates more easily, especially as my posts seem to roll down the front page rather fast.
New comments may take up to 1/2 hour to appear in this list, as updating it performing a number of requests to an external server at present, but hopefully BlogSpot will add this feature natively in the near future, removing the need for it.
