He admitted that the allegations were true, but said that they were mistakes rather than deliberate, and while I applaud his decision to resign (there is no way he could continue as Attorney-General after that), I'm not sure why he is holding on to his other portfolios as well.
Basically that says his behaviour is acceptable for Ministers in general, just not for the Attorney-General. I do not accept that. These are not historical offences - the latest one occurred last year (and if this was not brought up he probably would have done it again this year). He should have resigned all his portfolios.
The police should still investigate this further. Laying charges may be over the top, but they shouldn't pre-judge whatever evidence they may find. As I mentioned before, if convicted his seat would automatically be vacated.[pP]>Radeon 9200 LE SEC
