A recent report from the Centre of Independent Studies has pointed out that although New Zealand has one of the lowest top tax rates in the OECD, it cuts in at only 1.4 times the average rage. The OECD average is 5.6 times the average wage.
This is why we have the problem of people on the top tax rate getting the Working for Families benefit. The top tax rate simply cuts in a too low a level.
The Dominion Post says we need to urgently lift the tax thresholds to resolve this problem. It should be announced in this week's budget. But of course Cullen will never do this.[pP]>cheat engine 1.5 gunz
