The Senate has confirmed General Michael Hayden has the new Director of the Central Intelligence Agency by a 78-15 vote, giving him wide bipartisan support. Among those Democrats voting for his was the Ranking Member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Senator John Rockefeller, and the Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid.
