As is well known, National accidentally overspent during the last election campaign where they spent $900,000 exclusing GST on broadcasting, instead of $900,000 including GST. Under the current law, National is legally prohibited from paying back the money, as it sets a hard limit on the amount parties can spent on broadcasting during an election campaign.[pP]>lotr rotk no cd cracks
So, Don Brash has drafted a members bill to allow National to pay back the money for this case only, and will seek leave on June 13 when Parliament resumes to introduce it to the House. The amendment is fairly trivial and modifies the existing Broadcasting Act 1989 to insert a new selection allowing the repayment indirectly through the Electoral Commission.[pP]>lotr rotk no cd cracks
This is a very good move by National. They admitted to the overspending as soon as they became aware of it, but were unable to remedy it. This is a very principled stand allowing them to right their mistake. Unlike Labour who just claim that the law is unclear.[pP]>lotr rotk no cd cracks
