Financing the Palestinian Authority has become an interesting affair. Civil servants invaded their Parliament yesterday demanding wages, as they haven't been paid for several months and understandably are rather upset.
The Finance Minister, Mahmoud Zahar, crossed the border from Egypt with US$20 million in cash in a number of suitcases - it appears as though they are unable to get their funding via normal means.
