So, how do you get out of debt, Labour style?[pP]>msn plugin winamp
Well, first you rack up a $1.4 million debt by overspending during the previous election, and by stealing taxpayers money to do so.[pP]>msn plugin winamp
Then you introduce "democracy funding" - meaning that you can steal the money again for the next election, but this time without the legal problems.[pP]>msn plugin winamp
Finally, you change the law so that non-candidates aren't allowed to campaign at all, in case someone wants to point this out publically.[pP]>msn plugin winamp
This is quite simply unacceptable. I am ambivalent on whether the law should be changed to disallow anonymous donations - I don't like them being anonymous, but I am concerned that a vindictive government would take revenge on the supporters of its opponent.[pP]>msn plugin winamp
But changing the law to fund political parties is not acceptable. Why should my tax dollars be used to support political parties that I completely oppose. If they cannot gather enough support to fund an election campaign, why should they be subsidised by the taxpayer.[pP]>msn plugin winamp
