The French foreign intellignce directorate (DGSE) has managed to lose 25 million euros of a secret war chest intended to fund a government in exile in the event of invasion or nuclear attack. The money was apparently dispersed in accounts around the world with the account details being passed around by word of mouth.

However, it seems that they have managed to forget exactly where the money is. Sort of life burying your treasure and then forgetting to take not of where it is really...

So much for that secret war chests. I bet some foreign banks have done very well out of this mistake.
