Black Caps beat Australia in the Chappell-Hadlee Series
New Zealand

New Zealand has just won the second game in the Chappell-Hadlee series, thus giving them the series 2-0 with one game to go. A dismal bowling performance saw Australia get 336/4 off 50 overs, but brilliant batting from Taylor (117 off 126), Fulton (76 not out off 65), and McMillan (52 off 30) gave New Zealand the game.

As I mentioned yesterday, this series loss means that Australia is no longer the number 1 ranked ODI team - that honour now belongs to South Africa.
