At long last our stuff has arrived from New Zealand. It was packed and taken away by Allied Pickfords back on 20 December 2006, and left Auckland by ship in early January.[pP]>flashfxp 3.2 deviance
It arrived in Brisbane on January 12, four days before Tina and I arrived, but was sitting in customs waiting to be examined until about a week ago. Eventually it got through customs after a cursory search (approximately only 1-2 hours), and got delivered last Thursday. So 9 weeks from Auckland to Brisbane, with the shipping itself taking only 1 of them.[pP]>flashfxp 3.2 deviance
Ironically, we are back in NZ next weekend for a wedding - the first weekend that we've actually unpacked.[pP]>flashfxp 3.2 deviance
Ah well, at least we have everything now. [pP]>flashfxp 3.2 deviance
Now we are just waiting for Foxtel to get installed. We are trying out Foxtel IQ - Foxtel's equivalent to MySky - which should be interesting. Foxtel have just launched an On Demand service which is free to Foxtel IQ subscribers. Basically the Foxtel IQ unit automatically records 24 hours of selected programs (selected by Foxtel, and those programs last 1-2 weeks before being removed). You can then watch them whenever you want. It's definitely not a complete on demand solution, but is a great start. I'll let you know how it goes.[pP]>flashfxp 3.2 deviance
